Barbados Real Estate: General Information
Barbados is located in the Atlantic Ocean, many miles east
of the Caribbean's southern Windwards. Despite gaining its independence, it retains
a strong British heritage evident in the customs of its people. Their rich traditions,
along with the island's great beaches, world-class golf, consistent weather and
infrastructure make Barbados real estate highly sought after. The island is also
easily accessible for both North Americans and Europeans. West coast Barbados real
estate is generally at the top of the price scale, but more affordable properties
in Barbados can be found in various pockets across the island.
